Summer Camp Cri-Cri
The wide range of activities and experiences offered at Cri-Cri Institute Summer Camp will empower your child to get out of their comfort zone and learn something new. Our special staff and incredible facilities means everyone gets the chance to exercise their brains and their bodies. Grow and develop skills and interests in the second language, through sports activities, science and art.

Remar Institute LLC in partnership with Lee Montessori PCS, host a fun-filled summer program for students that put into practice social-emotional strategies through science, art, sports, and Spanish. Students experience real-world application of skills through project-based learning lessons that promote awareness and appreciation of diversity.
Lee Montessori Public Charter Schools
SY22-23 Cri-Cri Spanish Program
Remar Institute LLC, developed and implemented a program for the teaching and acquisition of Spanish as a second language during the Lee Montessori PCS after school. Children learned through songs, games and art activities diverse vocabulary in Spanish. During this program, socio-emotional strategies were put into practice that allowed students to have fun and learn basic vocabulary in Spanish.
Cri-Cri and Capitol Hill Families
Summer Camp Cri-Cri at RFK
Remar Institute LLC, developed and implemented a Summer Camp at RFK at the request of Capitol Hill families. Through this Summer Camp, the participants had fun while they put Spanish into practice through games, art activities, science and sports. During this program, socio-emotional strategies were put into practice that allowed students to have fun and learn and practice basic vocabulary in Spanish.
Our Founding
We are a team of 3 latin women with a cumulative 7 post-secondary degrees, 40+ years of hands-on expertise in the field of education and both immigrant & first generation lived experience. Our unique blend of academic, hands-on & lived experiences allow us to create holistic solutions to promote socioemotional strategies that support our clients in promoting language learning through an equity lens that very few organizations can offer.
Karen "Tuli"Â Malarin (MS)
Tuli was born in California. She has a Masters in education from Johns Hopkins. Tuli has been teaching for 5 years and her experience ranges from preschool to 3rd grade in both English and Spanish. Tuli is passionate about project-based learning because it pushes her to connect her practice to the world.
Gaby Revollo (MS)
Gaby was born in Bolivia. She obtained a bachelor's degree in Spanish and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Gaby has been teaching for the past 10 years in both English and Spanish. She has experience working and implementing different curriculums.
Monica Arias (PhD)
Monica is a native of Venezuela. Monica has more than 18Â years of experience in the field of education. Full experience in teaching Spanish as a second language and also in science. Monica has a diploma in educational techniques, a master's degree, and a PhD in science.
